Hello,

I’m writing to inform you of a crime against your brand, perpetrated by none other than one of your own shops. Dramatic, I know, but as one of my favourite purveyors of sandwiches in the city, it’s a pretty big deal to me, as I’d hope it would be to you. I narrate my tale to you in the hopes once experiencing my plight, you’ll ensure that the location brings it’s performance up to snuff. I’ll be frequenting the area now, and I’d hate to have to avoid what should be a reliably delicious sandwich.

my Chachi’s experiences thus far have been absolutely grand. I frequent your down town locations, forgoing all other sandwiches for the ones created by your stores. Even the Chinook one is a great place, a respite from the confusion of the mall. Tonight, for dinner, I decided that a sandwich would be quite nice, as it’s been almost a month since I’ve gotten my fix. As I entered the store and started filling out the card with my “usual” order, the lone staffer got ready to create my a masterpiece. Little did I know, that an hour later, when I finally sat down to eat, an abomination awaited me in my wax paper wrapper.

I started with the olives as an appetizer, but found them to be lacking and tasteless. These are not Chachi’s olives I thought with alarm. But alas, everybody has a bad day, and it is the holidays, a slow time for all. I discarded them, willing to move on to the main event. As I unwrapped my sandwich, everything seemed OK, until I took a bite, and realized that there was a lack of the main ingredient. The chicken was missing! I quickly opened the sandwich, figuring some bad placement, or maybe it had been forgotten. But it was WORSE. 5 small bits of chicken sat forlornly on one half of my long sandwich. The other half having a similar lack of protein. I then realized that it was my task, nigh duty, to report this abomination to those who would care the most. Attached is a picture, to convey what my tale cannot.

TL;DR; Bought a sandwich. Didn’t have much chicken on it. I had a sad. Location was South Train Crossing. Letting you know that it sucked. Purchased at around 5:00PM, December 27th, 2011.

I realized the other day that when you run into a problem you can usually find the answers you need on the internet but you typically have to look a lot of different places and piece together the different information (while wading through the trolls) to get the answer to one question.

Keeping that in mind, every time I have to go all over the place to find an answer to a question, I am going to gather that information and post it up here, so we all have one place to go to get the answers we need.

The last thing we need as nerds is to lose more hair searching all over the place. Just ask StandardToaster; he can tell you all about that :p.

Going back to the new to blogging thing, please comment, it will help me keep my posts enjoyable to read… late!

Although, it’s not hard to get the first post when you’ve got no competition. Fear not, in the future there will be a second blogger hanging around, however, he’s running late right now. Won’t happen again. Really.

I’ve never been good at keeping a blog, but it’s one of those things I keep wanting to do. Getting up on my soapbox and all. I also miss writing, as i’ve not done it much since I left school.

I figure that most of my posts will be technical, as that’s how I spend most of my time. Expect the odd movie review, rant or random content that I feel is interesting.

I’d also like to have a personal publicly searchable archive for fixes to all of the little frustrating IT issues that I come across.
